The experience
We invite you to Casola-Valsenio in the province of Ravenna to learn about its wonderful Herb Garden that dates back to 1938. In this beautiful garden, named after its founders you can close your eyes, breathe deeply of the aromas of herbs and let yourself go into your memories at your grandparents’ house. It will remind you of the scent you smelled when you came to visit them. A scent that could only be smelled there, by them.
You can distinguish the fresh scent of mint, the intense fragrance of rosemary, and the sweet scent of lavender. This route is called “Gallery of Fragrances,” and after the beautiful guided walk, we invite you to take a workshop in making and tasting infusions and herbal teas using fresh herbs and flowers picked from the Herb Garden`s crops, so you`ll end the experience feeling completely at home.
