The experience
An art that disturbs, not that dialogues
Vittorio D’Augusta, a contemporary artist of Rijeka origin and Rimini adoption, proposes an exhibition designed to destabilize and make people think. His works, installed in such a way as to interact with the museum’s ceramics, reject the idea of a simple aesthetic “dialogue”. The artist prefers to create an uncomfortable and provocative visual experience, which pushes the audience to confront the environmental urgency.
Installation Structure
The exhibition consists of vertical paintings, narrow and tall, similar to silent guardians. They will not be hanging, but they will stand, arranged in a row to tell about themselves. They have no titles, they do not accept metaphors or symbols, they exist only to be observed and understood in their direct message.
To disturb the beauty of the exhibition, without detracting from its aesthetic dimension, there will be an extraneous and provocative element, destined to move and continue to “disturb” elsewhere.
