A night to enter a magical world to discover the courtyards of Casola and their bizarre inhabitants: fairy tales and tales, street artists, games and music dedicated to all those who still believe in fantasy. With La Notte delle Favole, ancient customs of summer evenings are renewed and transformed every year in Casola Valsenio: from grandmothers who told fairy tales to children in those courtyards to the “crocchi” of adults who took turns telling the facts of the village.
The village is transformed into a large open-air stage, an evening where the magic of the Theatre enters the heart of the village by opening the doors of the private courtyards of the houses to the public: intimate, hidden and precious places, where you can listen, in a collective ritual, stories that come from afar, folk tales, of lives lived, fairy tales of tradition, as in a great fresco of our society.
The event has been of great appeal for nationally renowned artists who have trod the Casola stages over the years.

How to get there
The Municipality of Casola Valsenio can be reached by taking the A14 motorway to the Imola and Faenza exits. Exit at Imola (BO) and take the Via Emilia in the direction of Rimini to Castelbolognese where you turn right onto SP 306 for about 16 km. Exiting at Faenza (RA), take the Via Emilia in the direction of Bologna until you reach Castelbolognese, where you turn left onto the SP 306. After about 16 kilometers (10 miles) you reach Riolo Terme.
