“Roots on the table: from Argentina to Artusian Romagna and back” is the new project promoted by the Council of Emilia-Romagna in the World in collaboration with Casa Artusi, with the aim of collecting recipes, family stories and testimonies related to migration between Emilia-Romagna and Argentina.
The campaign aims to enhance domestic cuisine and Emilia-Romagna products that have crossed the ocean with migrants, becoming part of the Italian-Argentine gastronomic culture. Chefs, families, enthusiasts and descendants of emigrants are invited to share their stories and recipes through an online form, thus helping to build a collective memory to be preserved and handed down.
The contents collected will be used for the creation of brochures, informative events and exhibition materials that will be part of the visit to Casa Artusi, offering visitors an authentic and personal experience. They will also be made available to the MIGRER Museum, dedicated to the history of Emilia-Romagna emigration.
