Discover
Ancient flavors and traditional recipes to be tasted in the setting of the Vena del Gesso Romagnola Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Festival is a two-day gastronomic event, which has as its protagonist a protected species of native cow, typical of the regional mountain and hilly areas, and of the Romagna recipe book. The menu offers a mixture of traditional recipes and innovative dishes, all flavored with the ancient flavors of medicinal herbs characteristic of local gastronomy. On the menu, tagliatelle with Romagnola meat sauce; potato tortelli with Romagnola meat sauce; Florentine and sliced Romagnola cattle breed; Romagna cow burger; tomatoes and potatoes flavoured with medicinal herbs from the A. Rinaldi Ceroni Herb Garden.

How to get there
The Municipality of Casola Valsenio can be reached by taking the A14 motorway to the Imola and Faenza exits. Exit at Imola (BO) and take the Via Emilia in the direction of Rimini to Castelbolognese where you turn right onto SP 306 for about 16 km. Exiting at Faenza (RA), take the Via Emilia in the direction of Bologna until you reach Castelbolognese, where you turn left onto the SP 306. After about 16 kilometers (10 miles) you reach Riolo Terme.
